Compassionate Waters~ Solitude, except for one lone boat disappearing round the bend, catfish jump through morning hoops, leave their regards in rippled signatures. I cast a line of breathy thoughts using a sigh as bait, waiting for the lake to yield its usual catch of the day, a clear head it gifts to me, upon a gentle wave it carries spilt milky murmurs, floats them away to the deep end, where troubles go to die.
