Fair to middlin' of nowhere

She looks good for her years you know,
she’s an ‘86 Pace Arrow.
A little faded here and there,
but she’s not thread-bare.
She has held up good,
been treated like she should.
Her colors are classic rust and gold,
in her day a sight to behold.
She’ll get you from point A to B
just  don’t push her over 60
and go when it is cool not hot
or she’ll vapor lock on the spot.
Our next trip is to the Lawrence KOA
to see the grandkids and spend the day
with each one and have some fun.
I’ll spend the whole weekend being Nana to two
and Grandma to the baby that’s new.
We will pack her all up today ready to go,
head out at dawn with motorcycle in tow.

I hope you will have a good time with the family. Just pamper the ‘86 and all will go well.

Thanks guys!
I'm really excited. We just had it out to the lake for four days and it was great. We'll get to Lawrence around 10 or 11 in the morning and then have to park in a Walmart parking lot until about 2 before we can check into the KOA campground. (I be shopping!) ~L

Going to be a wonderful trip, my friend - heck, if you dis-believe my comment, just re-read your own words - it's already a wonderful trip! (I mean you get to shop WalMart! What more could you want!).

Loved you write up . . . looking forward to "after the trips comments...
