Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The smell of the freshly fallen rain
accompanied by the early birds singing,
combined to entwine a smile upon my face.
It levitated my soul and overflowed my heart
with peace and contentment.
Indulging for a few minutes,
I am once again in awe
of the complexity of Creation
and the limitlessness of the Creator.
Those  few humble minutes
made all the difference
in the rest of my day.

My day was anything but "with peace and contentment." I have been fighting the computer with a tech and I am drained.
