Actually and technically
I became  grandma for the first time
yesterday afternoon.
I’m Nana to the other two.
They named him Jesse Lyle
and he is perfect.
He was C-section.
so  he missed out on the disfigurement
of natural birth.
He is already beautiful.
Everyone is doing great.
I’m as proud as I can be.
This little one was made unexpectedly.
Dad just turned forty, mom thirty-eight.
They thought they would just have
a family of dogs to tie them down.
After the initial shock,
they thought it was great.
They’ll be good parents,
nervous at first.
Dad is so proud
he is about to burst.

Actually I think their ages are perfect for having a child. The parents will have lived to the age where their decision concerning the raising of a child will be done through more mature eye. Just my beliefs . . . Congratulations!
