Happy is the person
who dresses and dines themselves well,
always maintaining a fresh, warm,
and ever-pleasant smile

The world which revolves around them
may be deemed a basket from hell,
but they rise above its status quo ruse,
and its painfully ill-displayed guile

Trust comes pouring forth in gallons from their schpeel,
as the cynical and gullible both alike most humbly and calmly pray;
“Let’s choose a decent person to divert these talons of evil,

In a world full of opinions, Miss Lori, mine is that "Politics" is not a public service,
it's a lucrative occupation.

Too bad for me that I chose another line of work...
although the two had many similarities.
