     It came as "Surprise!",
     what we discovered that day.
     A spring date for two.
    
     We were fused in an instant
     and the years did not matter.

I agree with Lori, '57 was a good year. I graduated High School in '57. And the years awaited me. Loved this cool, quick poem. Direct and very much to the point.
