Poet's life
Would not be enough to invent love,
To write a poem for a child,
To hand at the hour
The clocks of our loving hearts,
Poet's life,
It is as a match
To consider a sun.
We burn without reason.

Certainly one of the many lives of a poet.

There's Plath and Poe...and then there's Edgar Guest with countless other variations and personalities.
