Do you ever think of me as often as I do you?
Do you sometimes feel alone, as I'm alone and blue?

Does your heart sometimes cry out for love and yet there is none?
Have you grown old and wish instead, that you again were young?

Remember when the two of us would walk around the lake?
Under a starlit canopy, a kiss was ours to take

Our firm embrace revealed our love that somehow we misplaced
and through the years has disappeared, lost without a trace

Do you ever think of me, my darling
...as often as I do you?
