The wind bullied me on my way home today. It bumped and shoved the car and then jerked the steering wheel. I kept my hands at ten and two to keep me in my lane. Didn’t make a difference which way I turned, wind was everywhere I went. Took old 40, going fifty-five, had the window down a bit it was so warm outside. Must mean the wind’s out of the south. There’ll be a cold front on its heels and a tornado somewhere in between. Just you wait and see. They say March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb… Be that as it may, this is Kansas and that bullying wind is going to bully its way through whenever it wants, all year long. Heh.Heh it comes from the south you say . . . Be that as it may, you can just keep that old bullying wind, we have hurricanes, that is plenty enough wind for me. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
