Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Spring and things are just around the corner.
There’ll be buds, blossoms and babies
everywhere you look.
All shades of green will be the color of the day.
We’ll all pray for April showers gentle and slow,
and that we dodge any tornados.
We’ll spruce up our porches and yards
so they are a welcoming sight.
Then we will sit and watch the stars
on some warm windless night.
Our thoughts will turn to
snow cones, swimsuits, weddings
and where to go on vacation.
We’ll tune up the mower and take stock
of the fertilizer, pesticides and garden hose.
Got to get the grill ready to go for outdoor cooking.
Gosh there is a lot to do to get ready for Spring.
I had better put away my Christmas things.

You mentioned, "tuning up the mower" being on your 'getting ready for Spring' list, Miss Lori.
Actually, that's my current project. I have a 42" Troy-Bilt.
Every year I say the same thing..."Just one more season" and it keeps deliverin'.

My pick-up should be as faithful!

I know I said 'we' but I really meant 'he' will do most all that stuff. I'm ready to start planting silk flowers. ~L
