A wet sound
...like a swamp boiling

A sticky wheeze
...like fungi burning

A ghoulish growl
...like gravel crunching

A tired ache
...but the cigarette still satisfies

Yes, a match is as good as an engraved Zippo.
Smoke responsibly. Only YOU can prevent forest fires.

I'm offended that you would laugh at my, "serious-as-a-heart-attack" poetry!

Were you standing or sitting when you were laughing?

I was sitting in my fave chair drinking coffee, as is my routine. It is nice to wake up and have a smile. Thanks my friend.
