Baby, I will never be able to tell you I love you more than I do
It's so much more than mere semantics, it's in my silent desire
for you my angel, in my touch and in my eyes

To feel you beside me once again, honey, to catch the scent of you
Your beautiful hair, your lovely skin, your sweet breath... your body
To touch your lovely lips with a fingertip...drawing them into the softest smile

Just looking at you again, my love, and thanking God for the wonderful gift of you
How could anything as fallible and inadequate as words, my darling, express what I feel for you? I love you, baby
Soon you and I will be holding each other just like the last time, for the first time, in a long time

With poems like these, your letters to Linny must feel like a sunrise to her, something she can look forward to to brighten her day, and make her feel warm. Best of all, when she wants to bask in the sea that is your love for her, all she need do is pull out a letter.

Thank you, Miss Lori...Truly.

She can't keep all the letters I send her as they number more than 600, so she sends them back every few months or so.
I have three boxfuls as I keep every one of hers and mine in chronological order, by year and day.
That number only relates to the letters and not the myriad cards. It's a blessing to have them all.
