I squandered my health on pleasures of the flesh. I’m a junk food junkie, I practically mainline mayonnaise. Doughnuts are my downfall, I freely admit. As do I about being passive aggressive. I know each decadent dessert I devoure is one foot closer to the grave, just like them coffin nails I smoked. But I went and did it anyway just to satisfy my lust of the moment. Too much collateral damage. I could stroke out at any time. So sometimes I wonder if I’m not some sort of suicidal in a passive aggressive kind a way. No question I’ve been killing myself. It is not like I can’t eat right and exercise. I’ve been there, done that. Problem is, I need to live there. It don’t take much to make me fall off the wagon. I eat when I’m worried, but not when I’m too upset. Boredom is the worst, pain a close second. But I know most all of that I can just walk off when I’m already in shape. I really let myself go when my husband got cancer. Talk about fluffy! Super soft in some places that like to sag and dimple. I don’t buy clothes, I buy camouflage. So wagons ho! Here I go, trying to get healthy again. Darn my flesh, its weak as sin. LGR(C)1/31/18 |
