Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I need a lullabye.
It’s one in the morning
and I can’t sleep.
The pain is keeping me
wide eyed  and rolling.
I have no Tylenol.
They said no to
my beloved Ibuprofen.
So now I need a lullabye,
and a sleeping pill perhaps.
I could wash it down
with a tall glass of wine
and I’d be just fine.
I might could find an opioid
just to top things off.
Surely then that lullaby
will send me back to sleep.
Because I’m getting nowhere
counting all these sheep.

Borrowed this from Lulu... /pip/Forum115/HTML/000894.html

"Hush little darling, no don’t you cry
The stars in the heavens are filling the sky

The darkness is falling, throughout the land
But you needn’t worry, I’m holding your hand...as we sing

Soon dreams will come softly, you’ll swing with the breeze
The waves will be rolling on a swirling sea...as you’ll see

They’ll be new lands to visit and new friends to meet
All in your comfort, they’ll wait as you sleep...as you sleep

They’ll be time for tomorrow, now yesterdays gone
It’s what’s in-between time that matters at all...now you’ll sleep

Now you’ll sleep...now you’ll sleep
...now you’re asleep"

Nighty-night...

Dr. Eric, That sounds a little rich for my blood. How about Sweet Lady from the local vinyard and some Cheetos? Thanks for commenting!

Pinkysweetie,
For the most part it doesn't bother me except when it itches then OMG! it drives me straight up the wall. I'm doing good! Thanks! ~L
