Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Your titles are a curiosity
sending out an irresistible invitation
to look within a web of words
stranded to a meaning.
Poetry is your medium,
emotion your art.
You sculpt your works
from the apex of  your analysis.
the wry of your wit
and the molton of your heart.
You display them
from the blue window
for a few to see.
Too bad for the others
that are missing out,
lucky it wasn’t me.

Once again, Miss Lori, you send pleasantries to me, and I so appreciate you. Tell me, my dear, has anyone ever told you that if you were the only one to read them that was all the reason they needed to write? Well, there...someone just did!
There's no one around like yourself and our dear, sweet, Miss Pinky. Not because of yours or her replies to me, but because you both have shown your hearts without reservation.
This board lacks activity because of the way people feel, not because they've lost interest in it or because their 'muse' has up and left them dry. A few have passed, but that's just the way of it. Some have mourned and moved along, others can't let go of what they feel is, 'the old times, or the 'old gang'. So, having you remain here as you have, is a blessing for all of us who have come to know you. I may go, as I have many times before, but you're always fun to come home to.
No, Lori Rhoden, I am not about to propose to you...but I'll admit the thought had crossed my mind...

Thanks for your attentions. I really do appreciate it very much.

You are too kind. I can't help but show my heart, that is where I write from. Wearing your heart on your sleeve may lend itself to good poetry but it has its handicaps.
Propose? I'll take that crazy idea as a compliment, knowing full well you lost your mind there just for a moment. Stayed a little too long in the smoking cabin did we? ~L
