Hush little darling, no don’t you cry
The stars in the heavens are filling the sky

The darkness is falling, throughout the land
But you needn’t worry, I’m holding your hand...as we sing

Soon dreams will come softly, you’ll swing with the breeze
The waves will be rolling on a swirling sea...as you’ll see

They’ll be new lands to visit and new friends to meet
All in your comfort, they’ll wait as you sleep...as you sleep

They’ll be time for tomorrow, now yesterdays gone
It’s what’s in-between time that matters at all...now you’ll sleep

Now you’ll sleep...now you’ll sleep
...now you’re asleep

That's a fine lullaby you got yourself there. Wouldn't mind falling asleep to that myself every night. I don't know what your cabin is smoking, but I wouldn't make it quit. ~L

I wrote this lullaby many long years ago, Miss Lori. It's still the same as it was without any new 'embellishments. I'm so glad you like it.

I was humming as I was reading. Very soothing and relaxing.

Aww! Thanks, Ethel! Lovely Little Lulu's lullaby was no more "soothing" than the sound of your motherly humming.
Nice to see you roaming about and so pleasing to have you visit. You replied so nicely when I first came to Pip, but I couldn't stay and was away for quite some time. So, thank you again!

Oops! I'm a bit late in my appreciation of you, Miss Pinky! Most remiss of me.
Say you'll forgive me and banish this curse of a thousand deaths I would willingly suffer
for slighting you my,"Pink Princess of Pip!"
