Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I need a little snow and a bit of mistletoe
to get me in the spirit of Christmas.
I need a string of lights that twinkle and glow
to get my good cheer going.
I need some wrapping paper and a bow
to make my holly jolly.
I need scented candles, don’t you know,
to smell like the holidays.
I need decorations all in a row
to put a jingle in my heart.
I don’t need a lot of this and that and so
to get me in the spirit of Christmas.
All I really need is you, the rest can go
Merry Xmas! Ho, Ho, Ho!

Little faces filled with excitement are for all seasons, but no season shines brighter in their eyes than Christmas.

The "little faces" I care about are a couple of hours away and we don't get to see them often as we would like. They'll be coming up the weekend after Xmas. I can't wait! ~L

60...eh? Which provides the best view, Miss Lori, the rearview mirror or the windshield?

(...or don't you 'drive'?)

Bluesy,
you are a rascal! No, I don't "'drive'". It is kind of a "shut up and ride" situation. The future is a mutual vision of growing old together with no particular destination in mind. In the rearview, objects may be closer than they appear. ~L

Miss Pinkgarland,
I'll bet you do love to decorate! I can just see that. Do you have any pink decorations?
Just wondering.

With you, pink is more than just a color, it is a state of mind that you share eloquently
