Send Me An Angel

The question remains;
why was she so giving
and at the same time so inaccessible,
yet easier to get along with
than any other woman I have ever known,
from the first moment we met
she stole my heart,
and I finally gave her
every inch of me
allowing myself to give my heart
and all of my love
with no fear of the consequences;
within the thoughts of my heart
I would be hers forever
and my hopes, my prayer
my deepest dreams were
her love would be mine forever.

"Her glance and her sweet smile
sent arrows straight to my heart
that time and energy can not remove."

James - A stamp on an envelope may fall off but a stamp of angelic Love on the heart is forever, even when you're old and gray and down to one strand of hair on the head, one tooth left in the mouth and one ragged breath struggling in the lung. If Love ain't grand, I sure don't know what is. Loved this James, and at my age.......thanks for the memories. Namyh
