Winter

Frost-singed glass shards
Dazzle blind eyes with rainbows
Too pure to behold

I prefer to be a dreamer among the humblest, with visions to be realized, than lord among those without dreams and desires. -Khalil Gibran

Mega-pretty! Although haiku is short, your imagery will remain with this reader for a long time. A pleasure to read, J.L.

Dear Lori Grosser Rhoden,

I appreciate the response and the sentiment. Sorry that it took so long. I forgot that this account is linked to an old, mostly unused email account. Anyhow, thanks a bunch!

Hi, 2islander2.

Thank you for the very nice comments. As I have been explaining to others, it took so long to respond due to the fact that I forgot that this account is linked to an old, mostly unused email account. Anyhow, thanks again!

Hello, 'misce.'

That was a very kind response you wrote. It is much appreciated. Even with Haikus, I take my time and try different things. There is more work in my Haikus than some people might believe. Anyhow, sorry for the delayed response. My email on this account is old and unused. I forgot to change it over. Though I kind of like the serenity in that almost empty "Inbox," if you get my meaning. Thank you for the thoughtful comment.

Dear Alana "PIP",

As in "PIPtalk" Alana? Hahaha. I thought I would poke the bear (or maybe the little kitty?!). In any case, it's just an expression, you know?! Sorry for the delay. My old email is still linked to this old account. I rarely check it. But I'm glad that I did. Thank you for the warm welcome back, I guess, as I have been here for quite a while, but then life and health and terrible things intervene. I do love this site, and that's why I continue to come back. I have quite a bit of work buried in the archives. Well, thanks again!
