I've looked way up high - I've checked way down low In spite of searching my muse is NO show! Perhaps it took a needed vacation Leavin' me dizzy with dire frustration For someone who's never lost for a word This feeling of blankness is quite absurd! Shall I take a quick peek under the bed? Or just resort to standing on my head! Maybe I lost it while doing my chores Swept it under the rug while sweeping floors Where or where has my little muse gone?
