Flowers wake up beneath morn's dew
Stretching upward to skies of blue
All things look beautiful and new
A lovely view, a lovely view

Bright red robins sing a sweet tune
As they bask in the warmth of June
Across the lake from the lagoon
Comes cry of loon, comes cry of loon

Butterflies frolic amongst the trees
Playing hide and seek with the bees
They both take flight with such quick ease
Riding the breeze, riding the breeze

Beauty of nature doth abound
All we need do is look around
So many wonders to be found
It does astound, It does astound

You have given us nature in our own back yard, Alana. The morn's dew, the beautiful robin gave me visions of growing up in southern Arkansas. Beautiful images all the way through this one.

Wow. Just wow.

When I was a child, I used to have visions of nature similar to this. Something so simple. So elegant. Except my visions were usually that of in a primitive forest on a bright day. Seeing the shadows of the leaves of trees. Seeing the crisp, clear creek. Delighting in the small sunrays that go through the branches of trees.

Very simple. Like that. I also like how you repeat phrases in the last line of each stanza. It has a mesmerizing effect. I used to do that with a couple of my poems a long time ago, back when I could write way better than I do now. I've said enough for now, but thank you for sharing!

Nicely done, Pink.

The repetition draws in to a form of a chant, which results in a meditative state in awe of the Nature's beauty.
