Miss Pinky had the eyes for Glurp She loved the way that he would burp It gave her goosebumps when he'd slurp He made the cutest little chirp Glurp had the eyes for Miss Pinky Loved it when she made a stinky The sound of it far from dinky Her sweet smell made his eyes blinky Miss Pinky boarded her spaceship She asked Glurp to come take a trip They both enjoyed a little nip Whilst they nibbled on chips and dip Miss Pinky played on her banjo While she twirled on her big fat toe To the moon and back did they go Glurp immensely enjoyed the show Miss Pinky purred like a kitten Glurp was definitely smitten With the love bug he was bitten 'Tis how Martian love was written © Poet In Pink 2017 [This message has been edited by Poet In Pink (06-19-2017 12:34 AM).] |

it's a fun poem all right (not silly)..one that brings a ray of sunshine on a rainy day. Reminds me of Edward Lear's the owl and the pussycat who went out to sea on a pea green boat.... |
