Once before feeling like a fish with nothing but brittle bones And lifeless eyes. Too willing to over compromise myself and for what? Why? For my angel's sake, I told him good bye. All he ever told were lies. Some things just don't change, he found somebody just the same. Fireflies circle inside. Life now in these eyes. Finding new love, I know will always be for my angel and me. This new love my soul mate strength behind my change. Through therapy, faith and honesty, Building what the past convinced me I couldn't be. Blessed. To put it simply. |
