I will respect and honour
but I don’t understand
the mask that has to be
but doesn’t have to be
for I am strong enough
to bear and share
whatever the pain behind the mask,
but I will respect and honour
the mask that doesn’t have to be.

A clear 'mask' hides nothing. Now, you take a wolf in sheep's' clothing...THAT is costuming with a motive.
