A darkened evening’s warm glow
illuminates her tears
My wandering fingertips
search her skin for silent wishes

A dim light enters my body,
guiding patterns, forming words
Surrounding images obscured from view,
as sentries guarding the Shimmering One

Like a diamond in a sea of broken glass,
her faceted brilliance engulfs and enchants me
A seeming reluctance to be known,
yet led to seek the winds of change

Setting our captive thoughts free,
watching them whirl and flail about
Two ribbons lovingly entangled,
never to be loosed or lost again

Now, as all our storms
pass by my love,
comes the beginning
of eternity for you and I

Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here...

There are times when you must absolutely regroup and come to terms with what attracted each of you to one another. But it is the deep abiding spirit which is the most important thing which needs to be pulled back to where it once was.

Same as Jerry and Lori said. Nicely expressed.
