To see the waves roll in to shore
To hear the cry of the gulls
To feel the sands of evermore
and then bravely letting go

So where, I asked, did my resolve lead me to,
when amongst all the color, I only saw blue
Then it struck me at last, as lightning within...
The effervescence of Ephyra

Her youth was inspiring, her beauty eternal
from her touch I would never recover
How I longed for this moment, to hold her at last,
to make her my lifetime dream lover

Through all the toils, that produced foolish spoils
I've never looked back to lament
Only the day, I again learned to play....
That...was the effervescence of Ephyra

Very charming poem. I always like ones about the sea. but the part about Ephyra was all Greek to me. I was quick to learn your poem  had nothing to do  with jellyfish pieces and parts...that would have just been weird.!L

What we perceive as we look within the briny deep can absorb our entity. Like this expounding upon the theme of the oh so beautiful, Ephyra.
