the doors of our lives . . .
can be
multifaceted, complex, and sometimes
downright skuzzy
still, every so often we open a special one
which immediately makes us smile
a chance encounter
a special word
Happiness 'R Us
sometimes we find this new door
to be almost virginal
not having opened one in such a long time
and, having stepped inside
we are infused with a feeling of harmony
it surrounds us
broadens, even wider our smile
when we perchance find such a door
close our eyes and ears
to other worldly things
and silently close the door behind you

Right you are, Jerry. And when one door closes, another opens, that's life. And the only way to keep our sanity

Yeah, you're right, jjote. Doors. What would we do without yet one more door to open and explore? It would be a very sad thing I'm thinking. Thank you for stopping by and giving me some of your thoughts.

Please forgive me JerryPat2 if I chuckle just a bit over this poetry of yours. I read "ess-ee-ex from top to bottom! It's been a few years since I opened a "virginal" door too! I enjoyed this thoroughly (obviously)!

Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here...please!

Nice write, JP.
But then, you never write a flop.
Very intriguing to anticipate what might be behind that next door.
