     Spring Anticipations

Spring comes softly, silently
with a warm South wind
and the first trembling wild
     flowers.
The willow leaves grow
gently curved like a lovely
   lady’s eyebrows.
Butterflies and wisps
of evening mist dance
in the long-shadow sunset.
A fine crescent moon
carves its slice of star-field
splendor with Time's eternal
   whimsy.
The morning grass is
webbed in sparkling dew
and infinite promises of
   life’s renewal.
All seems right within
this world and universe
unfolding as they may.

Lovely poetry Bruce. I really enjoyed these lines:
quote:
The willow leaves grow
gently curved like a lovely
   lady’s eyebrows.

Tailored to perfection!

A warm welcome to the season of renewal.

Very well penned Mr. Adams.

Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here...

Thanks so much to each of you ! ...

After having written over 2,300 of these li'l "word-paintings" ...
it is perhaps time to slow down or perhaps fold my tent like
the Bedouins and silently slip away ?! ...
