  Remembering You

Beneath a floating
moon in its sea
of silver clouds
and tremulous stars,
the gentle voice of
a twilight wind,
along this forest
edge of vanishing
wilderness, echoes
my whispered promise,
as from a waking dream:

I shall remember you ! ...

Remembering can be a good, or bad thing. I believe your remembrance is a good one.

thanks JP !

My "word-painted" 'rememberences' are far better than the realities.

Your "paintings" are always rich with warm colors Bruce and this one is no exception. As long as you never stop 'painting', a new canvas will always present itself.

Sadly, it has been my 'oft repeated 'experience' though, that I never made a similar 'impact' on them/their lives ...

One just can't please or attract, but we never stop trying. It's the human thing to do. Lovely poem.

Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here...please!

Ah, prose. Where would we be without it? Still going strong, I see. We joined right around the same time in 2006, but you have been much more prolific! Now warm and fuzzy all over. Thanks!
