I ran to her
within my wanderlust
to the rhythm
of her own feelings that
dreams are forever
sanctified with my holy hearts’ beat

I sought the vision of her intuitive acuity
looking into my inner
never shuttered heart’s skylight
allowing the light
to once and for all
break through so totally

my mouth slightly open
she surrendered
fused with my essences’ forever hug
now it was radiance
merging with joie de vivre
hearts overflowing

for once the world stood still
we breathed as one

methinks Jerry you've been biten by the love bug these days, it's flowing into your poems. But don't mind me, am just a cynic

Must have been the 'one'. I say that JerryPat, because the words just beautifully flow that way.

Yes Bluesy, it was most definitely the "one." Thank you for your insight.

Nice, my friend, very nicely done.
You left just enough room for a little daring imagination.

Warm reminisces that just get better with age like a fine wine. The insertion of French was perfectly timed.

Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here...please!
