I started this journey
From across the sea
I was in heavy storms
And love was out of reach
But there you were
A forgotten beach
Put my toes in the sand
You gave life back to me

With all I know
And with all I could say
I'm just gonna say
It's ok, to be ok
And everything now
Is gonna work out
Just take our time
It'll fall in place

I've taken some chances
Even leaps of faith
Washed upon your shores
It had to be fate
Cause in that stormy night
With no land in sight
Hope brought me here
Under the dimmest of light

And with all I know
And with all I could say
I'm just gonna say
It's ok, to be ok
And everything now
Is falling to place
With you by my side
I found, it's all ok

In the morning
When that sun rises
Just remember
That I'm right there
And in the evening
When the stars come out
It's a brilliant sight
That we share

And with all I know
And with all I could say
I'm just gonna say
It's ok, to be ok
And with you by my side
And with you in my life
I'm just gonna say
It's ok, to be ok
Let's be ok, let's just be ok
Let's just be together and be, ok
Let's be ok, let's just be ok
Let's just be together and be, ok

I like that we're being,
Ok

Like the metamorphism, using the beach as a metaphor for for a real person who is alive and vibrant. Excellent work.

I love the metaphor and the hopes it carries, like some peace after terrible morale combat, how solacing can be  a beach,  an interesting poem to share

For me, the beach is always a redeeming place to be where lonely souls find peace and fulfillment. And I like that you find the person to make your life ok there on the beach.
