There is a cloister
where silence and stillness
manifest supreme
where you and I hear
without words
where we caress
without touching
where the minimal space
between us
vanishes...
It is in those rare moments
time pauses, briefly --
It is then
I catch glimpses
of eternity...

So well worded, CG . . . As I read the words I could feel myself slipping into your thoughts and it was a fantastic feeling.

Thank you for the kind words, Jerry. That being the case, I am glad I was able to convey the feeling and the mood, as intended.

What a special piece! you describe a perfect moment of intimacy, one that we rarely get to experience. Beautiful! ~L

Very well said!  However, a glimpse is never enough and one is left somewhat unsatisfied until the realization dawns that the privilege of that one glimpse is all that is really needed.
