           To Make your Heart Sing

Here in this mystic evening-forest world,
a  grand September moon rises amid
floating clouds and weightless dreams
to sweep these ‘endless’ hills and
the troubled spirit clear with gentle
moonlight, blissful calm, and peaceful
       serenity  
beneath a velvet cloak of tremulous stars,
my love has grown wings to fly to you
across all bounds of time and distance,
carried on this soft Autumn evening
       breeze,
in the simple hope that special words
and thoughts might hold just enough
of the magic and music of life to make
     your heart sing !

Although I call my ever-so-humble li'l poetic scribbles "word-paintings,"
I've always felt that poetry is actually closest to dance (and that all the
arts 'inform' each other)

There have been some "grand September moons" Bruce. One of my favorite transitioning months as we leave Summer behind yet again. Good read my friend.
