Heartache
There is no pain deeper.
When your heart breaks,
You can’t think.
You can’t eat.
You can’t breathe.
When your heart breaks
the pain is so intense
your mind and body
shutdown from the blow.
When your heart breaks,
it shatters
in a world of hurt
all its own.
It takes time,
when your heart breaks,
for the pieces to fit
back together
and the pain to subside.
When your heart breaks,
it always
leaves a scar
that’s tender to the touch.

My daughter's boyfriend of 5 yrs just broke up with her via text message. She is home for a few days.
