commercial photography locations

I turn on full body lockdown
numbing all harsh realities
willing life's vagaries stand still,
allow a  long forgotten tune
to keep humming soft in my ear

I pirouette in style and grace
spread my arms like a swan floating
the halo of misty blue sky
a vista of color and sounds
spread a kind of fugue over me.

My soul breaks away from where all
the crevices within turn black
like the spaces between the stars.
I shall hold this moment with flair
It is mine to dwell as I please.

I deserve to be free from dread
stand on tiptoe and face upturned
exuding an air of panache
owing to no one the meaning
of convictions I believe in.

I bathe in the breath of heaven
keep precious all good memories
with cool detachment I shrug off
the mottled light that pursues me
pale smudge in an overcast sky

Grand and delightful poetry, jjote. The amazing way you brought grace and beauty into your words touched me . . . Yesss!

That is beyond the image . Beautiful.
