Hey, I went into the garden, just after Jerry's post to one of mine. I like Jerry, he's honest, and he can write. I sat there, at the table at the bottom of the garden, and a lil' ol' hedgehog nestled up to my feet. He didn't seem frightened; he just sniffed and scurried into the Irises. I'm not happy with the Irises: they are prolific but, orange. I always wanted blue and yellow irises. Blue and yellow irises remind me of being a boy. I was a boy once; I liked to climb trees and find birds' nests. I often feel guilty about the happiness of my childhood; many never knew such bliss.

kinda silly!! How 'bout an evening with redstart!! Not 'xactly a poem, but sorta okay!!

I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather...not like the passengers screaming in the back of his car.

Don't usually comment of these kinds of post since the aren't poetry, but I have to this one because "Jerry" was there also. Enjoy these "few moment with" you Redstart.

If you put line breaks in the right places you have a poem that is not too unlike some of Jerry's. Enjoyed the moments! ~L

Hey, I'm not the world's greatest at thanking folk for their replies, but thank you for the time and the reply. That is a nice touch. x
