Fair to middlin' of nowhere

If your mean streets
were today’s
and you were that lost young man
fighting to find your way,
with your political pull so strong
what would you say?
Your older wiser self
bellows about revolution.
Would that have been
your younger self’s conclusion?
What side would your
angry young man be on?
What kind of line
would his hate have drawn?

I love the fact that poets can inter-connect and feel each other's feeling.

I think he has a unique perspective and he has a way of relating that we don't all have a flair for.  `L
