Summer Evening Forest

Ragged rocks frame
this deep-forest path
through these ancient
   ‘endless’ hills.
A long-shadow sunset,
twilight  breeze, and
shreds of evening mist,
turns this mystic
woodland world into
a dazzling dance of
moonlight and shadows
to some distant Celtic
tune out of Time
of Summer passing.
Here, in the ‘now’
the mind and heart
turn clear as that
fine moon rising
in its infinite mantle
of shimmering  stars;
and all my thoughts
turn only to YOU.

--- b. e. adams ('here' in the 'now' of infinitely positive potentialities!)

So pretty, love the long shadow sunset.
As always, your poetry is pure magic.

Nice work, Bruce. You painted a clear, crystallized photo with your words.

You're poetry is always engaging Bruce. It seems to have been awhile since I've read you, so this was a real pleasure.

Thanks Ari!

I've 'penned' over 2,000 of the li'l "word-paintings" ... perhaps the 'well' is finally runnin' dry ?!

For you my friend, the 'well' won't be dry until you are.
