Some Lessons to be Learned

I know a woman from my past
who said she Loved me
but it didn't last;
I wonder how much was my fault
and how much was hers,
I suppose in the end
I got what I deserved;
my lesson learned is this,
some relationships happen
even better than planned
and some in a lifetime
you'll never understand.

No need to take all the 'credit' James. Maybe she also got what "she deserved".

Loving Linny Jean is poetry.

Profound writing, James . . .

"some relationships happen
even better than planned
and some in a lifetime
you'll never understand."

~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~

Pain is real, and it hurts so badly. Lessons mean nothing where love is concerned, so I'll say nothing.
