My heart void of reason
collects windy evening
thoughts of you…

Thoughts fluttering like leaves
shimmering with sunset –

warm and glowing sleepy smile
simply asking:
‘will tonight bring dreams of you?’

Hoping joy is at your side,
praying peace is your friend,
wishing you too, an evening of repose…

And so, swirls of wind push about
conducting inner smiles –
hard kept secretes,
enouncing, evermore clear
you and I…

Swirling thoughts trying desperately to escape,
and fly away with the wind of time…

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself.
Maranatha!

Perfect is this poem of remembering someone special. Would love to reach out with your arms, but have to settle with these reaching words and hope somehow she can absorb them. Nice work.

Love this so much, reads like a warm caress as well as a welcome shiver and touch of tingle.

So pretty JL.

don't let the wind  run away with your happy memories.
they're a treasure to keep.

wind and memory, equating nature with life, and loving the melody...beautifully done.

Thank you, jjote.  I'll try to hold on to my memories, but I must admit, I am looking forward to being with the LORD and forgetting my sojourning in this world.

Thanks!!
