Trapped in the land of Could've been
What would've been
If he only learned to forgive his sin
And learned to love his kin, folk
Fearing the day he'd croak
That is until he awoke

His eyes open wide
This time three of a kind
Appreciative cause he was once blind
Knowing not what hides in his mind
The land of books is where he resides
It's time to choose his side
And cut off all ties
With the ones who are not wise

It may come as a surprise
But in due time
They will envy what is in these lines
When they drunkenly look at their wives
Who cry
Starting every day saying to each other "we'll try"
Then ending the day with a sigh
And no relief

This man is a thief
Who once had belief
And promised you sweet treats
But all his energy went into his cleats
A muddy bas***d
You swore to love till his last word
That is just absurd
This man, a lust master
Making your life a disaster
Working hard till Sunday
Just to greet the Pastor
That is mundane
And not what you were once after

But you wrote it in stone
Deciding it is your last chapter
I wrote it in a poem
And decided to become a master

Becoming a master to thwart all the trials in life is a noble thing.
