Synthetic dolls,
Microchip heroes
Digital villains
Dead eyes watching
~
Sports stars,
Flex steroid muscles
Mouth obligatory mumblings
Dead eyes watching
~
Art defined by Ad men
Acting unwanted,
Just say the words
Dead eyes watching
~
Cartoon children
Vacuumed imagination
Finger the game pad
Dead eyes watching
~
Massacre in Orlando
Carnage in Paris
Quake in China
Dead eyes watching

Yep, I have to agree, Cari, that George set the date too early . . . As for your poem, I do not watch television, am not hooked up to any provider, never turn it on.

Every media saturates and conditions us, does it not? De-sensitizes us birthing indifference. We're a sight. I like your thoughts. Well expressed as always Cari.

More feelings and fewer words please

i agree, we need television, but we are always victims of our needings if we don't care and don't think by ourselves, there is some sadness and delusion in your words i guess
