turn your eyes into the upheaval
the foundation of the world
is hanging by a thread
look . . .
everyone is losing freedom’s light
one by one
country by country
what is taking the lights’ place
is the suffocating
governmental interference
in your life
even here
never thought it could happen here
but the proof is before us
and our vocal
protests fall on uncaring ears
of the government and the sheeple

"...and the sheeple", as in people who are mere sheep, baa, baa?

I think you will find that liberty for the individual is normally defined as liberty within the law. To give complete liberty to the individual without the restrictions placed by common laws would be pretty disastrous.
Even today vast area’s of the African interior still gives complete liberty to the population. That doesn’t mean that the right of freedom is given to them by the good intensions of the rulers of their country, it’s because the governments have simply no interest in their welfare or lifestyle. So no laws exist, the population enjoy complete freedom, the good but unfortunately also the bad. Would you really want to live within a lawless society, because that is what complete liberty for the individual means?

Having said that there are good laws and bad laws, plus those where the good points outweigh the bad. There are laws that benefit the whole of society and those that benefit a very small minority.

As I read I found myself wondering what is freedom ? Always remember a guy from work pointing out you can do whatever you like but you must live with the consequences. Thought provoking read Jerry.
Thanks
Pete

That it is Jerry. It wasn't designed as an overnight sensation, it came unto the stage slowly, gradually whittling away in such a way as to practically go unnoticed. Each generation grows within their ever-enclosed spheres as we old ones wear out and fall to the wayside.

Pull up a chair and we'll watch the Grand Finale Jerry. I like to chat it up with a man with a thought. Roll one for me.

More feelings and fewer words please

Yeah, you're spot on, Ari . . . I've watched this insane march across this once great nation with complete and total domination in mind. This next presidential election is probably the most important one in my lifetime.
