(from Faces of Love). Slow blues, last dance of the night, the band stringing it out minute, after minute, like us, alone on the floor not wanting to let it go, yet, knowing it's inevitability . . . We've lived a lifetime tonight, you intertwined with me moving as one, swaying to the beat, sometimes hard, sometimes soft, always in tune, our hearts beating as one. Slow blues sending us home . . . partners no more

A sad refrain to a separation of two lovers . . . ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

I'm swithering between whether this is the separation of two lovers or merely the end of the night for two dancing partners, seems it works either way, enjoyed, thanks. |
