Kats

Kats have been here for a million years,
Yet they never invented a better mouse trap.
That would have given them
A tremendous evolutionary advantage
in the miaoing, scratching, hissing struggle for existence.
Anyway, maybe cat can tell us, or miao us,
Why humans had to invent them.

Humans found the little buggers distasteful. Whenever humans feel this way, they create a 'mechanical' or chemical means to solve their troubles. Too bad they never saw the entertainment value in them outside of cartoons like [k]cats do. You must have a Chinese [k]cat Daddy.
