Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Spring forward
fall back into darkness.
My morning sunshine
has returned to blackness.
I’m back to driving at night
in the daytime with the moon.
I was just getting to see sunrises
and savings time took them away.
My sleep has gotten hay wired.
When I wake up I’m still tired.
I’m not liking this new time arrangement,
I feel like I’m filled up with cement.
I want my daylight back.
It was saving me.

Sigh! I'm completely on the same road you're on insofar as the damn time changes.
You get adjusted to one of them and they blindside you with another one.
Bah! Humbug! I declare . . .

I guess if they waited a little longer before they made the switch so that hour doesn't plunge you back in darkness, I'd be happier. ~L
