The only one you are hurting with all your hate is you. You are making an assumption that had you been able to contact Nanette everything would have been different. It is possible Orean was told not to tell you, you had no way of knowing then or now. All you have is your hate. You have held on to it so tightly for so long I don't know that you would know how to live with out it.
