        Your Kiss

Fine dreams gather with
the long-shadow sunset.
Soft twilight whispers
to a grand rising moon
A lone cloud floats away
in an infinity of dancing stars.
This silver river flows on and on
through these ‘endless’ hills,
down the ever-rolling years.
An old path to nowhere
disappears in the deep-forest
  calm.
A plaintiff evening wind
sings of all things beautiful
  and passing.
Every hurt and Winter fear
fades far away in the healing
hands of Time and gentle
  moonlight
until I can think only ...
    of your kiss.

What a sweet poem you wrote with such lovely images to ponder! You and Jerrypat are my favorite poets!

If I were more than I am, I'd see things differently instead of the same all the time.
