      New Love

A diamond tapestry
of tremulous stars
    touches down,
in this forest world
of dancing shadows,
as it has from time
   immemorial.
Here all dark passions
of the grasping word
vanish in the wake
of our finest dreams.
Past and future lie
   unattainable.
There is only the
ever-precious 'now'
of infinite possibility,
as the heart in new love
becomes the Winter moon
pure, clean, and bright.

             --- b. e. adams (1/26/2016)

I truly must believe ... that all the many 'heartbreaks'
simply allow our hearts to grow back larger each time ...
with finer potential and capacity for tolerance, understanding,
compassion, joy, love, and Zen ... if we so choose ...

Wonderful thoughts masterfully expressed, dear Bruce. Makes me want to linger in this atmosphere ...

... if we so choose ... YES!

Your poetry is like magic fairy dust, it lights up the page and the visuals truly come to mind and flit and flicker in such a beautiful way.

I'll hold your footnote close, I just love that thought.
This is pure poetry in motion, dreampoet.
