Feeling the silence between the walls Hearing only through touch Heavy vapor hovers over painted lips A procession passes beyond the pews An apocalypse in kisses Impaled upon my heart Her dying left me empty A love left unfulfilled Yet from my pain Came great pleasure From my torment Came great relief But from my life? Only death comes to replace it Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

Very powerful Capo. You paint strong images and emotion. A bit Van Gough. ~L |

Each stanza stands alone as grand implementations concerning life . . . Love . . . Death. I really liked this one. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

I wish you would just stop writing about death all the time! I like you and TF made me really sad but I'm glad you're okay thanks to lori. I like most of your poems but stop dying all the time! Just remember if you die you can't write anymore poems good or bad! Don't be mad at me just don't be sad because you have alot of friends here. It was just a thought which made them run. It was just an act that killed them. |

I'm deeply sorry for any misunderstandings mon cher Days. I am quite intact, all 5'10, 175 pounds of me. TF is actually a fine chap mostly, but he pushes a bit much when he probably shouldn't. I do so appreciate your fiery chastisement and will make an effort to focus myself more to your worthy pleasure. Merci beaucoup mon cher amie, Capo Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |
